The much-anticipated trailer for Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming Tamil film, “Leo,” directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, has been released. This film marks their second collaboration after “Master,” which premiered in 2021.
The Leo Trailer Breakdown
The trailer offers a glimpse into Vijay’s character, a family man residing in Kashmir with his wife (played by Trisha) and daughter. However, his past catches up with him as vengeful adversaries seek him out. They subject him to severe beatings and even set his clothes ablaze. For a moment, Vijay appears defeated, but then his formidable fighting prowess emerges, and he takes down the assailants single-handedly. Additionally, there is mention of a serial killer on the loose and a determined police officer in pursuit. Sanjay Dutt’s portrayal as the menacing antagonist adds to the intensity, and a tantalizing cameo is hinted at towards the end.

About “Leo”
Co-produced by SS Lalit Kumar’s Seven Screen Studio and Jagadish Palanisamy, “Leo” boasts music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. This film marks the third collaboration between Anirudh and Vijay, following “Kaththi” and “Master.” Officially announced in January 2023 under the working title “Thalapathy 67,” “Leo” was named shortly after. The movie has been filmed in various locations, including Chennai and Kashmir.
Reunion of Vijay and Trisha
“Leo” sees Vijay reuniting on-screen with Trisha Krishnan after a 15-year hiatus. Their previous collaborations include films like “Ghilli” and “Thirupaachi.” Their last joint venture was the 2008 release “Kuruvi.”
